Jeffrey R. Allen
Jeff Allen, Managing Partner of The Mariner Group, LLC, has over 40 years experience in corporate finance, venture capital, investment banking, commercial real estate, securitization, mergers and acquisitions. He brings proven experience to his clients in finance, business planning; transaction evaluation, due diligence, and execution; economic studies and C-suite support. He has been a valued advisor and consultant to some of the nation's leading corporations and investment banking institutions. His clients have included Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, AMRESCO, PaineWebber, GMAC, Nations Bank, GECC, Lockheed-Martin and others.
For the past 11 years Jeff was the Chief Financial Officer of Gold Group Enterprises, Inc. As a Director and key member of the management team, he was responsible for the financial, human resource, legal, risk management and administrative activities of this technology solutions organization. His earlier affiliations include, Roxiticus Ventures, Strategic Resources Corporation, Sterling Drug Company, Olin Corporation and Swiss Bank Corporation.
Jeff holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the New York University Stern School of Business, a BA in Economics and Geography from Pennsylvania State University, and a CFP from the College for Financial Planning. He currently serves on the Advisory Boards of the CFO Alliance and DeVry University. He is a sought-after consultant, advisor, speaker and panelist. A New Jersey native, he has resided in Bergen County since 1980.
Robert Gold
Bob Gold is a rare combination of business entrepreneur, strategic visionary and outstanding communicator. Bob’s successful track record in creating and developing growth companies combined with his specialty focus in digital commerce, payments, and behavioral economics has enabled him to help companies convert their Intellectual Properties into thriving businesses throughout his career. Bob’s most recent business endeavor has taken him to the new world of mobile and social commerce.
As CEO of Gold Group Enterprises, Inc. Bob has built a thriving business focused on “lifestyle engagement, transactions, and rewards” extending enterprise CRM, Loyalty, and Commerce programs for Fortune 1000 companies and other large distributed organizations where consumers are “on-the-go”. He created one of the first mobile wallets and is Co-Chair MMA Mobile Payments Committee.
Previously Bob was the founder and CEO of Starpoint Solutions, an interactive financial services marketing and development company. His vision lead the company to create some of the world’s first online stock trading, option trading and user oriented 401K systems. The firm grew from $1.2M to over $80M in six years and was sold to Goldman Sachs.
Earlier, he was the founder and President of Level 8 Systems, a CRM software product company that enables two different enterprises to exchange highly secure financial and commerce information and transactions. Built company to a $10M run rate and sold company to an Israeli technology company.
Bob holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University and an MS in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickenson University. He is the winner of two Daytime Emmy Awards for the animation on the Rosie O’Donnell show.
